RADD Rewards

Your RADD Rewards Card rewards designated drivers with free non-alcoholic beverages and discounts on food and other merchandise at participating establishments in Downtown Los Angeles. Learn more about special rewards and discounts for promoting lifestyle solutions that prevent drunk driving.

Responsibility has its rewards. To claim your RADD Rewards, you must be 21 and older. Just present a RADD Rewards Card (also called a "RADD Designated Driver's License™") when making a purchase.

• Bars and restaurants give free soft drinks to acting designated drivers in any group of three or more.
  
• Convenience stores and other merchants help RADD carry the message to a wider audience by offering a discount with purchase to all adult RADD cardholders.

The card, which contains a sober-driving pledge, may be picked up at participating locations throughout the state.

Erin Meluso

Erin Meluso's background in youth marketing initially led to a relationship with RADD as a pro bono consultant on marketing and licensing. In 1993, Meluso joined the team as Managing Director. She now oversees RADD as President.

Meluso credits the RADDinDTLA Initiative as being personally fulfilling. "When you are promoting road safety at the community level, the ‘bottom line’ adds up to lives saved," says Meluso. "I’m very fortunate to be one of the rare people in traffic safety who hasn’t suffered a personal tragedy."
