GRAPHIC DESIGN INTERN

Gasp is seeking a talented and multifaceted Graphic Design Intern to support our creative team. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for working in a fast-paced environment with challenging deadlines. Professionalism and attention to detail are a must. We expect interns to bring a head-down, elbows-up work ethic. In return, interns will learn step by step what it takes to produce top quality work that merits the Gasp seal of approval.

The duration of the internship is 3 months, with a commitment of 12–20 hours per week on site. Pay rate is $15.00 per hour. Parking is not included.

Interested candidates should attach samples of their work and/or links to their online portfolio, relevant personal blog and social media presence.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years minimum design work experience or education.
  • Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
  • Thorough understanding of typography, color theory, layout design.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Photography, video and/or web development skills a plus.


PART-TIME BOOKKEEPER

Gasp is seeking a part-time Bookkeeper to organize and manage our financial records. The ideal candidate has prior experience working with a creative studio and is familiar with current tax requirements.

Work hours are flexible but must be performed on site. Pay rate is commensurate with experience.

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience, as well as a knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Must manage and maintain an orderly bookkeeping and filing system.
  • Must issue invoices to clients and financial statements as required.
  • Must comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.
